Expanding Mandrels

American Lap Company manufactures many different expanding mandrels. If you do not see what you want please call. Stock Expanding Mandrels come in two different configurations, standard and self expanding. Standard expanding mandrels require an arbor press or other means to expand and contract them. Self expanding mandrels are expanded and contracted by turning a nut which is linked to the sleeve. Both types are made of hardened tool steel and precision ground.
